Blofield Nurseries are family-owned wholesale plant suppliers with an exquisite range of plants, specialising in supplying large volumes of Azalea, Camellia, Pieris, and an array of Rhododendrons. With a focus on wholesale, we cultivate over a million rooted cuttings, 150,000 P9 liners, and 60,000 2-litre shrubs annually, designed to meet the expansive needs of supermarkets and retailers across Europe.
Our plants find seasonal spots within Aldi and other wholesale outlets during Spring and Autumn. We also supply young plants to other growers and retailers who want to grow them for 1 to 2 years before reselling. We are also happy to ‘contract grow’ requests made 9 to 12 months in advance.
The Azalea Collection
All of our azaleas, also known as Japonicas, are evergreen. These azaleas have been chosen for their good range of colour and hardiness. In our azalea range, we have 14 varieties, some are exceptionally hardy.
The Camellia Collection
Camellias are some of the most well-known and widely grown winter flowering shrubs.
They provide a vivid splash of colour when the garden could otherwise look rather drab and washed out.
The Rhododendron Collection
The Dwarf, Hybrid and Yakushimanum rhododendrons are propagated in a 60-cell tray.

The Pieris
Collection
We mainly propagate our Pieris in a 60-cell tray. If you require a different size, we can arrange this upon request. Our growing approach guarantees a better-shaped plant and ensures robust health and vigorous growth.
Our Nursery
Our Nursery is based in Norfolk on the outskirts of Blofield village. There is approximately 4 acres of glasshouses, 1 acre for propagation and the rest for liner production.
For the cutting production, we have about 1.5 acres of mother stock. Our substantial facilities reflect our capability of undertaking and executing large orders with reliability and excellence.
In 2020, we built a new 5000-square-meter production unit in Holbeach St Johns. Here, we produce finished plants in 2 litre, 5 litre and 10 litre.
