At Blofield Nurseries Ltd., we proudly offer an extensive selection of Japonica Azaleas, which are recognised for their vibrant colors and exceptional hardiness. As leading East of England’s Azalea specialists for over fifty years, our expertise in breeding bulk azaleas for sale and nurturing these plants ensures high-quality bulk azalea options for your commercial needs.
Our evergreen azaleas are available in a delightful palette including pink, red, white, orange, and purple. These are offered in several sizes from robust 2-litre potted plants ready for immediate retail, to 9cm and P13 liners ideal for continued growth. Our azaleas are propagated in-house, with cuttings rooted in 40mms, ensuring each plant thrives through our meticulous cultivation process.
We take special care in growing azalea liners to deliver well-shaped plants with lush foliage. The rooted cuttings are prepared for dispatch from February onwards, catering exclusively to our wholesale market. Our azaleas are perfect for creating stunning visual merchandising in supermarkets and garden centers, flourishing best when planted under partial shade in moist, well-drained ericaceous compost.
Practical azalea advice
Ideally azaleas need protection from the north-east, from the sun and wind. Planting amongst other azaleas and shrubs creates a good environment and effect. Planting azaleas below larger shrubs, like camellias and rhododendrons, makes a good border.

Orders are generally taken from July for delivery from September and mostly spring, late February onwards.
